In Class - Turn in article (homework from Thursday) regarding the economic impact of the World Cup. Group Work: Hand out articles regarding the economic impact of the World Cup on South Africa and other nations around the world. In your groups, read the article, discuss the main topics/points, then write down three important details, three interesting facts, and three questions you have. Each group will share their article with the rest of the class. Discuss. Turn in written work. Library Research: Before going to the library, turn in the article (homework from Thursday) concerning Arizona SB 1070. Continue to focus your research on the economic implications of SB 1070 in Arizona. Start preparing yourself for tomorrow's class discussion. I will still be looking for participation, but I want you to dig deeper and find some original arguments for and against this bill. Class brainstorming schedule: begin listing arguments for and against SB 1070.

Start preparing your arguments and evidence to bring in orginal arguments based on the research you have done in the library and from home. From our many problems today there are so many people complaining that we have such a major crisis of immigration getting out of control in our states. And so what the senate have was that they had made a law called the SB 1070 a.k.a. the Senate Bill 1070 and this law indicates that every one who have come here illegally or born illegally or in any other way will be stopped asked for there papers or else forced to go back home. And also all these immigrants that are coming here are causing us a harsh time here in the USA. In this time of our economy we have such an high rate of immigrants here and all of them either have been used for force child labor and also the immigrants have taken all the jobs that mostly what people don't want. And then lots of immigrants that have come all over the world want health care just as Obama had promised his nation. And many people want this law not to be signed because most of our products as of us the consumer go and buy are mainly processed and or made by immigrants or illegal workers. And then what would the world be without immigrants and the cheap labor that they are willing or forced to work for,but to the future the world would be such in a better condition than today.
And now there are so many people who go for this law that is going to be proved by the end of this week. As for the Texas (tea Party) which relates on not having immigrants come into our country so it can be such a better place. And then many of the aliens who have come here illegally and also that if they want do become a legal citizen many of them either are born here or marry a citizen in the U.S. so they can become legal citizens. And also just basically for the education and that they want to go to certain places for a better life but who's to blame them because of all the famine and the wars that are going on ,all the poverty and also all the killing and stealing has caused many people to move from their home to a foringe , and that's what causes immigration! And then there would me more jobs and more money. but the downfall for this is that the many children who are born here will either be forced to move back or taken back to their country. But even though if they are taken back forcibly or not they will always come back somehow and then starting the process again which declares u to vote as a citizen o go with this law or against it!
